Ryan Reynolds Reveals the Name of His Fourth Child with Blake Lively
During the New York City premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds shared a special moment by revealing the name of his youngest child, whom he shares with wife Blake Lively.
“I want to start by saying thank you to my wife, Blake, who is here,” Reynolds addressed the crowd. “I want to thank my kids James, Inez, Betty, and Olin, who are here. I hope that, if I’m lucky, the most traumatic thing in your wondrous life will be the contents of this movie.”
Expressing his love for his family, Reynolds added, “I love that my entire family is here.”
The couple, who are parents to daughters James (9), Inez (7), and Betty (4), welcomed their fourth child in February 2023, just months after Lively announced her pregnancy.
“We’re very excited. Look, we wouldn’t do this four times if we didn’t love it,” Reynolds joked during a February 2023 appearance on CNBC’s Power Lunch.
He also assured fans that the family was thriving, saying, “Everybody’s doing great. Everybody’s actually doing fantastic. If we hadn’t figured it out by now, I think we’d be in deep, deep trouble.”
At the time, Reynolds had kept their child’s name and gender a secret, explaining that he and Lively preferred to wait until the birth to find out.
“We never find out until the baby is born,” he shared on Today. “I know girls, so I’m kind of hoping for that, but I’m ready for whatever happens.”
Now, with the name Olin revealed, fans can celebrate alongside the happy family as they continue their journey as parents of four!
